Och så kan vi lätta lite på skynket och avslöja lite nytt kring V1.1 som kommer i slutet av månaden. Nedanstående kom just från David.

About v1.1, well so far everything we talked to previously will be there. Now as said, I got the horn sound and a few bug fixes to do however there are a few cool things that are done now.

-removed the gap between ab and m units (few graphical glitches left to fix, just spotted some parts of the train going thru the articulators, duh)

-removed coupling "loosage", no more gaps there too however this is only a trs2006 supported feature. Im just using a simple tag in the config.txt that was introduced in trs2006, stumbled on it when going thru a few things on the CCG. trs2004 doesnt know what that tag mean, nothing else i can do for 2004 users.

-added cab door sounds

-synched the doors with the sounds
(one important thing with the cab doors, im using a new method to animate them and that would be some sort of "test" run, if proven succesful then full trs2004 door operation will be restored and will be running stable.

-while on the subject for doors in 2004 with AI trains, i already restored their operation "partially". The front unit controls all the doors, so if the front unit overshoots, no doors open. If the train stops at the middle of the station and a few units at the back are outside the platform, their doors will open anyway. Now thats not perfect but better than the "nothing" we currently have, plus, if the cab door operation works as good as i think they will be, then for v1.2 all the doors will be working good and ill finally have got rid of that issue for good.

-made the speedometer display speed when going backward (damn that one should have been a simple fix but it wasnt. All that because i was following the naming guidelines in the CCG, by doing that trs was overwriting any kind of modifications i was trying to make to the speedometer, somehow they didnt wanted me to modify it for some reason... After i figured that out and renamed the speedometer, i was free to modify it as i wished and evrything worked instantaneously).

-modified the looping sound of the short, bip bip bip when overspeeding and the long biiip. Now they are pefectly looping with no gaps or clipping or any audible clics. I still got a few bugs left to fix on that one.

Dessutom är en egen website för projektet är nu under konstuktion.
